In the past few years, we have seen a lot of changes as far as mobile technology is concerned. No one had ever thought of such a tremendous change and as a result, the latest mobile phones are at par with computers. Technologies like 3G, HSDPA, have given us more choices than one can ever expect in a small gadget. New and technologically advanced phones with Symbian OS make things quite easier as new applications can be downloaded. Latest mobile phones can also be categorised on the basis of their usage: business phones, music phones, camera phones, etc.

Wireless connectivity in mobile phones is again a great achievement. Almost all the latest mobile phones available today are Bluetooth enabled. Its a new standard for wireless connectivity - it connects other compatible devices such as computers, Laptops, printers and all sorts of products without using a wire over short distances (up to 10 m). Bluetooth technology works on radio waves and its a secure and inexpensive way of sharing data between devices.

Bluetooth enabled phones offers many advantages while exchanging data between devices. Some of the benefits are listed below:

Users can share data without using a wire. sharing of data can be done anytime-anywhere as users need not to carry a data lead or a CD drive. Users can surf mobile Internet or check emails on the go.
